Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota (The Man Who Feels No Pain)

Like its title, this unique film from Vasan Bala is wacky, absurd and at the same time mostly entertaining. The story revolves around a young man suffering from congenital insensitivity to pain and how he deals with his superhuman power. Even though its inconsistent in its story telling, the quick recovery from the dips and great loud laugh out moments makes it a worthy watch. I like the second half much more that the first half. There are shades of Deadpool quirky humor and reference to old films through out the film. It's a sort of paying tributes 80's movies , characters and there are plenty that irritated me a bit in the first half. The action sequence, the pitch perfect old song selection and eccentricity in the climax is something i loved. For me it was hit and miss kind but i enjoyed the madness and creativeness of the director to a larger extent. There is always unexpected things on the cards in terms of dialog delivery. Give it a try for this action packed comic venture which is loaded with some great performance through out.

Verdict - 3.5/5(Kickass)
